A beautiful secretary constructed by skilled cabinetmakers, this piece is adapted from a Fall Front Desk, found in the Smithsonian’s Castle Collection. Its clean lines provide a simple elegance, reflecting the details and design of the early 1800’s, including multiple compartments. The dark stained Wood and handcrafted details reflected the tastes of the growing upper, middle class of that era.
