Dating from around about the 1900's, this is a gorgeous example of an antique Persian Ghashghaei pillow poshit cushion that was used in nomad tents. This hand-knotted wool antique Ghashghaei floor pillow cushion features an all-over geometric design composed of ambiguous tribal motifs on a red field. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Moroccan, Islamic, Arabian, Bohemian, Eclectic, Bohemian, Tribal, Primitive, Nomadic, Artisan, Eclectic, Traditional, Modern, and Contemporary. The weaving is Fine and delicate. It is in nice condition for its age and it comes filled.
