Description: These Councill armchairs are rather light when you pick them up, so I believe they are made from beech, fruitwood … more These Councill armchairs are rather light when you pick them up, so I believe they are made from beech, fruitwood or some other lighter wood and not mahogany. The style is Regency, as evidenced by the elegant curved arms and the arched back. The upholstery is in remarkably good condition with only minimal signs of wear and appears to be the original fabric. There is no date on these chairs, but they appear to be from the 1980's. They are in good vintage condition with light wear on the wooden arms and some roughness on the back of one chair (refer to picture 5).

Each chair is 34" high, 22" wide and 24" deep. The seat height is 18" and the arm height is 27".

I have a total of four of these armchairs, all of which are matching in upholstery. This listing is for two of them, and the other two are listed separately.

I can deliver these chairs personally if you live within 50 miles of Culpeper, Virginia, for a charge of $50. If you live further away, I may be able to deliver them for a slightly higher charge. less
