A really stunning and quite rare wallhanging with striking primitive art that recalls the Mesoamerican cultures of Mexico and Central … more A really stunning and quite rare wallhanging with striking primitive art that recalls the Mesoamerican cultures of Mexico and Central America (Aztec, Maya & Inca). Made of some type of resin/plastic composite and meticulously styled to mimic actual wood carving. Artwork depicts a bird, a snake and some abstract symbols. Beautifully detailed, textural and rustic in quality this piece will work very well with mid century or retro tiki decor. It's meant to be hung horizontally with the artist's name on the bottom right corner but please note that the existing hardware on the backside is set up for vertical hanging and that's why I've included a couple of photos showing it vertical. It actually looks good both ways so it will be up to the new owner. The frame is solid wood with a bare charcoal-like black finish with no varnish on it.
