This piece is unique as made with the "Sommerso Bullicante" technique. “Sommerso”, which in Italian literally means “submerged” is a technique used to create several layers of glass inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colors that lay on top of each other without mixing. "Bullicante", which in Italian means "full of bubbles", means that the artist created inside the layers of glass a decoration made of small bubbles.
