This vintage 6x13 Persian Kilim is believed to be a tribal rug from Meshkin—a small northwestern village known for its fabulous works. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.
Its design favors medallions and other traditional geometric patterns in a smart balance of rich and vibrant colorway accents. Keen eyes will note especially present red undertones, and admire this Kilim’s inviting presence and movement underfoot. It’s exemplary of the personal, warm nature of Persian flat weaves, and a bright addition to any space.
Condition:
This mid-century Northwest Persian flat weave further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. It’s ready for the floor, and is available with or without our custom non-slip padding upon request.
