Just the shape of the legs vary slightly from the 1940s original. Built on a sturdy beech wood frame and raised on solid teak legs with teak accents on the armrests. We love the stance of this sofa and the shape and angles of the legs. The original fabric and padding still usable but show signs of wear and we recommend to have the sofa re-upholstered. Aside from the fabric the sofa is sturdy and structurally sound and in very good condition. less
