Japan, late nineteenth century, Meiji era, large bronze vase and cloisonné enamel embossed Manjushri sitting on the Buddhist lion, great Bodhisattva known for his wisdom and whose name means "graceful glory", in a plant and floral environment. Very decorative antique piece! Stunning details and the handles are gorgeous. It’s in good condition, but as you can see on the picture has so many wear sign. Wear signs on the painting ( faded color) and all over on the finish ( see pictures) The bottom has a gap between the edge on the side of the vase. All of these wear signs make this vase so attractive. You can see the age on it, and that is pretty, if you like old , antique decoration. Measurement: 10” H x 7” diameter. less
