This fish-tail-shaped vase has vibrant pastel colors in blue, pink, and yellow with a gilded edge on the flared rim and foo dog handles at the neck. This colorful vase was likely made before 1890 because it has no markings on the bottom. The piece is approximately 10" high, 5” across the top, and has 2 different panels. Panel 1 shows three geishas in the Imperial Palace while Panel 2 depicts four geishas in the gardens with Chengde Mountain in the background. Of special note is the beautiful peach motif on one side of the neck. This extraordinary piece will be the perfect addition to any Chinoiserie décor. See less
