The case is cherry wood in a Bordeaux finish with swan … more Vintage 1979 model 610-154 Aristocrat with registration number 192597. The case is cherry wood in a Bordeaux finish with swan neck pediment, planton turned finial, and stepped platform base with adjustable levelers. The locking door has beveled glass and decorative brass escutcheon. Both sides have long glass panels. Chain driven triple chime movement, a Kieninger mechanism handmade in Western Germany, plays either Westminster, Whittington, or Winchester chimes on the quarter hour. There is also a chime silence option. Clock has a large Arabic moon-phase dial above a clock face that is embossed polished brass with a silvertone chapter ring with raised brass numerals, and openwork hands. Chains, 3 cylinders, and lyre pendulum are all brass. Overall dimensions are 82" high, 25" wide and 13 1/4" deep. From a pet free, smoke free home. less
