This vintage 6x6 Persian kilim is a Jajim-style flat weave believed to originate from the Qashqai tribe.
Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design prefers navy blue and peach stripes with vibrant orange and off-white notes. Connoisseurs will admire the technique, in which tribal weavers combine multiple panels into one piece with a repeat pattern. It’s a bright, comfortable choice of rustic charm with a natural sense of movement, and vast design applications therein.
