It is decorated with a woman with a pink dress, yellow gloves, a blue headdress, and an umbrella in the same colours, surrounded by green and pink bushes. This decor is called Madame Bernard and portrays the owner of the Les Islettes factory. Marie Bernard inherited the factory from her husband and run it with great success during the first half of the 19th century. One of the most sought-after and distinctive decors of Les Islettes, this decor exists in various renderings, all with elegant attire and pose. A rare and gorgeous plate with vibrant colours and a fascinating history. less
