A beautiful French modernist art deco table lamp made around 1930. The nickel-plated base in solid brass or bronze holds a shade in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Degué. It is model number 520 in the old 1930 Degue product catalog (which is no part of this sale).
The height of the lamp is 30,5 cm (12 inches) and the shade has a diameter of 12 cm. It is in very good condition. The 90 years old nickel plating shows minimal signs of wear consisting with age. See pictures. Of course it turned mat over the years. I rewired the lamp with cloth covered twisted cord an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
