Beautiful from both sides...black and yellow on one side and red/yellow on the reverse. Easily mounted to the wall for a dramatic sculptural look. Definitely a piece of industrial history. These wooden pattern molds were pressed into sand to create a hollow cavity in the shape of the desired machine part. Molten metal was then poured into the sand to form a casting, which when cooled in machined into the finished part. Each of these wooden molds was made by hand to the specification of the part needed. This piece has original paint and metal hardware. Such a stunning look. less
