Minton was the world's leading porcelain maker in the last quarter of the 19th century.
The Plates are fully marked on the back Mintons and the fine New York Retailer Gilman, Collamore & Co. mark. Davis Collamore & Co. was a high-end New York City importer of porcelain and glass, headed by Davis Collamore (7 October 1820 13 August 1887).
