a very special table lamp or desk lamp was something that had never been seen before in the 1950s - until today.
the design is clearly modeled after a harp. Both, the lamp arm and the lampshade are adjustable. It is operated with a standard fluorescent tube with 110 volts and a us plug. It can also be operated with a 240 volt adapter, for example. The lamp switch is located underneath the shade.
