An absolutely AMAZING set by celebrated midcentury American designer, Dorothy Thorpe. Originally designed c. 1950, these candleholders with their translucent lucite twisting sinuous forms are topped with nickled bobeche integrated holders. What makes this such an interesting set is that it included two of the iconic pretzel twist holders, and another pair that includes a roller coaster twist and a flat pretzel twist that can be combined into one "trio" holder. The set displays nicely all lined up on the table top as shown, or can be used separately as 3 or 4 individual pieces. In any case, they will be a show stopping focal feature in any room. We have shown the interconnecting set both connected, and separated. We will ship separated for safety purposes. They are easily coupled by removing and re-attaching one screw.
