The insides of the set is divided into several sections and sub-sections for you to be able to beautifully decorate it with an assortment of accompanying dishes and rice. Asian divided pentagonal porcelain dishes assemble with wood lacquer tray. Made in Arita, Japan. Marked for authenticity.
Japan's Arita design 5 piece serving "bento" platter(s), cold side dishes, snacks directly from Kyushu-Japan. Includes fitted wooden base box, black lacquered with red rims. The box can be used independently as a serving tray.
Impressed kanji mark on the back. It represents the area of Arita pottery (Kyushu island. Highly decorative, desirable set with a unique and non-traditional shape.
Measurements: Dishes are between 3 in and 5 in wide.
Overall measurements with the wooden box are 10 ½ inches x 10 ½ inches (approx. 27 cm).
