Dated on back plate, with … more A large English late 19th Century Rococo style fire basket in brass and cast iron. Dated on back plate, with a very decorative pediment in the Rococo taste, with a large shaped fire brick within. The polished bowed bars of the burning area surmounted by acorn finials. The front supports and apron dressed in brass, very well cast and decorative again in the Rococo taste, with Acanthus, C scrolls and shell. A good quality fire basket from the late Victorian period. less
