But didn’t the French also have left-over glass at the end of their days? They most certainly did, and here’s one great example!

This blazingly colored glass bowl is held in place by a brand-new French “Cordelier,” made to the usual French high standards. It includes one (American) standard-based socket capable of taking a bulb of any wattage you care to use. Put this on a dimmer for a spell-binding light show!

The cobalt blue “splash” across the bottom of the bowl reveals lots of little different-colored pieces which come to life when the bowl is lit; you can see a hint of that in the close-up photo of the bowl (photography will not reveal what you see in real life).

The canopy is antique, in the order of 100 years old. It’s “new-old,” never used. Solid brass with a gold finish, a real Deco stunner!
