The Bassans Pottery Bowl from Italy is a timeless classic. Its signature being the thick strands of clay being interwoven with each other to crated an elegant yet useful piece. See how the clay manages to flow all around, emulating a basket made of willow. Stunning. This is a very large basket, measuring 17" across and in diameter. It's sides are 8" tall. There are pastel bunches of grapes, with colors of blue/purple and yellow/orange. There is no damage on this piece that I could ascertain. Nice heavy sturdy piece. Would look lovely filled with fruits and vegetables. less
