The vase was designed by Per Lütkens and produced in 1954, the Holmegaard name is engraved on the base.
Danish glassmaker Per Lütken (1916 - 1998) worked at Holmegaard from 1942 until his 1998. During this period he created some of the factory's finest pieces and all-time classics..
The arrival of Lütken in many aspects marked a new beginning in the history at Holmegaard that was originally founded in 1823. His aesthetic creations, in timeless designs, appealed to the Scandinavian taste and many of his pieces has become collector's items.
