Table can be used with 1 or both leaves up. If you look at the "details" part of the listing it will say the table has 2 leaves and it does have 2 drop leaves, it does not take any additional leaves. The design beauty of the swing leg is it allows room for chairs where normally chairs would be difficult to place, like on the "ends" of the table. The finish on the top has been redone at some point. As you can see in the photos most of the original glue blocks are in place inside the frame. There is a small chip missing from the rule joint of one of the dropleaves. This is shown in 2 of the photos. Table is basically in very good useable condition. Table is 41 1/2" deep and 61 3/4" long with both leaves up. With leaves down table is 41 1/2" by 20" and the table stands 28" tall. Standard modern dining table height is 29". less
