After the resistance, in which he actively participated, he was the animator of the group of "painting" and editor of the magazines "45" and "Realism" , directed by Raffaele De Grada. In the 1950s, in addition to exhibiting several times at the Venice Biennale, he participated in the Exhibition of Realists at the Leicester Gallery in London and exhibited in New York with a staff at the Heller Gallery. \. in 1978 he gave birth to the current Foundation, center of cultural initiatives, exhibitions, debates in the various fields of culture and art, as well as the collection and study center of documents relating to the period between the birth of the movement e The years of realism. In 1989 the Municipality of Milan dedicated a large anthological to the artist to Palazzo Reale, while another important retrospective of his works was hosted at the Bandera di Busto Arsizio Foundation in 2003. \. he died in Milan on November 27th 2009.
