Could be side or dining for four. The leather is bright and spotless and the chairs are structurally solid, they don't wobble even a little. There’s no varnish on this beautiful wood, no knicks on the incredible carvings. I think the wood is so pretty without staining or sealing but this is a great op to DIY and not have to do any stripping. The wood can be lightly sanded to clean up scuffs and light scratches. The red leather, it’s PERFECT. Maybe Duncan Phyfe, better than any similar I've come across. I've never found with original leather in vibrant red and pristine condition. 19ʺW × 22.75ʺD × 33.5ʺH
They look like similar chairs made in the 1820s and popular again in the 1950s (Green Room at the White House). I don’t know when they were made. less
