Alphonse La Paglia, born in Italy in 1907, studied under George Jensen in the early part of the 20th century. In the 1940s he moved to the U.S. where he made his mark as an American modernist. He designed for International Silver in the 1950s and produced the design for these pieces in 1952.
The compote measures 5x10x5.25, the candlesticks measure 2.5x3.5x4, and the jigger 2x1.75x3.5
