It is a classic … more This hard-to-find Heywood-Wakefield model #M568C Ladies' Club Chair (Open Arm Tub Style) was made from 1951-1958. It is a classic example of mid-century modern Eames-era style with its steam-bent arched wood arms, angular upholstered back, ergonomic seat and straight wooden legs. The wood is Heywood-Wakefield's signature yellow birch finished in the company's opaque Champagne stain. The upholstery is original and is a nubby weave in a coral color. The wood finish and upholstery are original and are in remarkably good condition. The fabric has no rips or tears and minimal wear. The seat springs are fully supportive. The chair is sturdy and very comfortable. The wood has a very few minor marks and scratches, such as on the lower part of the legs, as shown in the pictures. less
