Here we go again - another amazing teak wood camel that makes me wistful for the designs of the 1960s … more Here we go again - another amazing teak wood camel that makes me wistful for the designs of the 1960s and 1970s. I've had encounters with live camels and they are not nearly as charming as this big guy with his proud stance, his well groomed legs, his crisp double bump hump. This big guy is almost smiling he feels so dandy. We've tried to take all images in natural daylight to capture the true color. It is almost a cafe au lait color in some light, more like naturally cured dark tan leather in other light. Hand carved from a solid piece of teak. Sculptural skills meet engineering discipline as he stands perfectly balanced. And he's heavy, probably 4 lbs
