This is an abstract oil painting on canvas. It's based on a pencil line drawing done by my husband, George Inge IV. He is an artist, and has maintained a daily practice of abstract line drawing for over forty years.
Recently, we've begun transferring some of his drawings to canvas, so that I can paint them. As I worked on this painting, I focused on capturing the spirit of fun and lightheartedness I saw in the drawing.
The painting measures 11.75" x 11.75", and the canvas has a depth of 1.5". It is sold unframed. There is a hook attached to the back, so that it can be hung as it is, or if you prefer you can frame it. It is signed by myself and my husband on the back.
