Design attributed to Carel Adolph Lion Cachet. Solid oak base with original hand-carved elements. Original solid macassar ebony hand-carved elements underneath the armrests. The backside of this large armchair or throne has a solid macassar ebony panel. The cushion is made of an old Persian rug. This wonderful Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau armchair attributed to Carel Adolph Lion Cachet is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
