Extremely rare set of 6 tea cups and saucers in the famous "Tischenmuster" pattern by Meissen, Germany, 19th century. Brightly hand painted stylized flowers spill across the fine porcelain/china. This pattern is based on the typical Japanese Imari patterns.
Dimensions:
Cups – height: 2.7’’
Saucers – diameter: 5.5’’; height: 1.6’’.
All cups and saucers are fully marked with the Meissen blue crossed swords mark (first quality mark, mid-19th century). Very good original condition. Minor wear commensurate with age. One cup has hairline crack and one saucer has a chip on the rim (shown on detailed pictures).
