This superb furniture recalls the office produced by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Janneret with her curved tray and the wood used since it is a ash, like the one made by the two designers. Our solid ash and plating office consists of a tray resting on two rounded boxes on the rear part, the front part being composed of two large drawers for one and three drawers and a sliding tray for the other. Each box rests on a slightly set base forming a foot. The handles and keys are made of chrome metal, the locks are Fichet, a famous French locksmith specializing in the manufacture of safes. The room is finished with a very beautiful French polishing. France, around 1940. less
