An omnipresent name in the world of contemporary architecture and design, Philippe Starck has created everything from hotels and luxury yachts to teeth toothbrushes.

Yet, for each project in its diversified portfolio, Starck has maintained an immediately recognizable signature style: a dynamic, elegant, fluid and witty look.

The Sarapis stool is no less designed, designed in 1986 for the Italian company Driade, a stool with minimal lines, whose extreme stiffness is broken by the Curca who supports the small back and the bar (arched) on which to rest the feet.

These are the only two curves present in the extremely linear stool, curves that contribute to giving a minimum of movement to the seat itself breaking its verticality.
The session is also made in a dense steel shirt pierced by many squares that emphasize the overall penalty of the valuable product.
