Article: wall light sconces. Origin: germany. Producer: honsel lights, germany. Age: 1970s original. 1970s modernist german wall light made of solid metal aluminum. This item was produced by honsel lights in the 1960s and 1970s in germany. The lights is in the original state with red aluminium tone finish. Super rare in the this coloration. The light has a diameter of 35cm and one e27 light socket for bulbs. Good vintage condition for the age, some slight traces of use patina, full working. The red colored surface has several black little stains, its looks as the red color was laquered on the the aluminium without 100percent cleaning, looks like the black parts are dust elements, please see images. Very nice and rare authentic light of the mid-century modern and sputnik interior design period. The light is from the form identical to the model series chosen by charlotte perriand for to decorate the apartments of les arcs ski resort. Dimensions: depth 8cm without bulbs. Diameter 35 cm. Condition: good vintage condition for the age, some slight traces of use patina, full working. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
