The original oak frame and caned sides have been left untouched. There are areas of scuffing throughout which is shown in a few examples in the the pictures. There are two very small breaks in the caning to the exterior right hand side of one of the chairs. They are nearly impossible to see without searching but please review all photos for close ups of the areas. The larger break is pictured and circled while the smaller break is just a couple rows above it. These chairs are exceptionally comfortable.
