Mid-Century Modern United Furniture Co. Diamond Front highboy circa 1950s. In superb condition retaining the original lacquer finish that has acquired a deep rich lustrous patina. Extremely well constructed from walnut hardwood and veneer with oak secondary wood and dovetail joinery. The drawers all feature 5" tall wood facades with complex beveled drawer fronts, creating the illusion of a cut diamond. To add to it’s mystique, the walnut veneer selected for the fronts are all book matched creating a waterfall effect. The dresser sits on rounded, thick trim and Danish style legs.
