Classic Monor decorations on mantels, overdoors, and newel posts of fine homes since the 17th century. Distinctive classical forms with fine rare marbles turned into classic vase forms. Mounted by figural Dore Mermaids on the shoulders atop swags of ribbons and floral garlands. The size is 16" tall and 8 " in diameter at the mermaids, 4.75" by 4.75" square base. Very good condition.
