This fragment comes from a banner and is all metallic gold embroidered monogram MA , topical from the 1800 hundred … Read more This fragment comes from a banner and is all metallic gold embroidered monogram MA , topical from the 1800 hundred you will find a thick embroidery with multiple flowers , always very elaborate it offers very sophisticated design .This is and the start of what is used now to create those extraordinary pillows , by cutting the backing silk textile in order to keep only the metallic embroidery and replying it on a newer textile , if you prefer it can be frame as well like a piece of art( the 2 last pictures are just showing what a final result after transformation can look with exactly the same kind of embroideries) , the red on picture is just a background in order to highlight the embroidery, not a part of the piece , here you have a large size 24.5" on 16.5" ideal to create a master piece that for sure would be a statement.
