It is custom made and very well made. I cannot find anything with this similar pointed top. The carvings could be gothic or deco. The piece is made of birds eye maple. It has a top portion for books and a drop down for writing. There are 3 drawers for storage. There was a key but it did not come with a key when we purchased it. It is not dovetailed. It is custom. It is absolutely charming and unique.
