This is a lovely 5 piece silver-on-copper Goldfeder Silverware Company Tea set. This set has wonderful ornate engravings on the 5 pieces (see pics) and it dates from the 1930s. It consists of 2 larger jugs, a sugar bowl, a lidded trophy bowl and a creamer (jug). All 5 pieces have the identical Goldfeder makers mark. The Goldfeder Silverware Company was established in CT in 1932. This set would have been one of the first products it produced. The lids are topped with a charming leaf / berry top. It has tarnish but will polish up with a little bit of effort - please read condition below.
This 5 piece set is going to look simply magnificent upon whatever table it ends up gracing!
The largest jug measures: 11 3/4" height x 10 1/2" width x 5 1/2" depth. It weighs 3lb 10oz.
The second jug measures: 10 1/2" height x 10" width x 5 1/2" depth. It weighs 3lb 6oz.
The creamer jug measures: 6 3/4" height x 6 3/4" width x 4 1/4" depth. It weighs 1lb 3oz.
The sugar bowl measures: 4 7/8" height x 4 7/8" width x 4 7/8" depth. It weighs 14oz.
The lidded trophy bowl measures: 7 1/4" height x 7" width x 4" depth. It weighs 1lb 7oz.
