The writing table features five serpentine freeze drawers across the front, and three matching masked drawers to the back. Each drawer is decorated with geometric inlaid marquetry motifs, intricate bronze handles and bronze filets around each drawer. A bronze scalloped apron further embellishes the entire desk. The beauty and size of this desk combine to make a broad impact whether viewed from the front or back.
