Up for sale is an epic Executive Desk Set from Silver Crest with a bronze finish. Silver Crest was a division of the Smith Metal Arts Company which today is known as Smith McDonald Corporation. Items by Smith Metal Arts as well as the Silver Crest division are highly collectible by Art The set would be a great addition to any high end home office or to an executive office.
This is a 15 piece set as follows: (measurements of approximate dimensions listed with each item below are in inches)
2 paper trays - each measuring approx. 10W x 14D x 2.25H
2 paper tray covers - 9W x 13D x 0.125H
2 bookends - 5W x 6.5D x 4.75H
1 library set (scissor/letter opener holder) - 9.75W x 2.25D x 1H with scissor and letter opener in the holder

1 cigar box (larger box shown) - 10.5W x 6.5D x 3H
1 Aztec stone insert for cigar box - 6W x 2.5D x 0.25H
1 cigarette box (smaller box shown) - 8W x 3.25D x 1.5H
1 notepad tray - 5.25W x 9.25D x 1.5H
1 round drink tray - 11.75 Diameter
1 coffee or water pitcher - 5 Diameter at body, 9.5H
These are vintage items so there are marks, pitting, discoloration and scratches but none of them are extreme. I have seen other sellers get these pieces polished but I figured I would leave that up to the buyer as some people prefer the vintage patina.
One of the letter trays has damage on two corners as shown in the pics. The round drink tray shows discoloration and ring marks.
Please note that finding a full set like this is very rare in this condition. Individual pieces are sometimes sold and listed for $2000….like a small cigarette box on this site. Worth noting is that none of the silver plaques on the items are engraved as is often seen when pieces like this are available individually.
Pieces are very heavy and will require several boxes to wrap and ship. less
