This is a mid 20th Century hand-carved and lathed Taverneau wood leaf-shaped bowl that has an indiscernible and illegible maker's mark and numbers etched on the bottom
It bears a resemblance to bowls made by Emil Milan, as well as the ones designed by Arthur Umanoff (crafted by Raymor and Pantalcraft) in Haiti during the 1950s and 1960s
It can be used as a fruit bowl or catch-all and measures approximately 17 3/4" x 9 1/2" x 4 3/4"
