A very lovely stylized plate with an airbrush quality marked K&G / Luneville / France. K&G is is Keller & Guerin Faience (majolica), and the mark dates to 1900 to 1920 (see infofaience.com/en/marks/luneville-marks). The colorful plate has dark red and pink roses with bright yellow centers and green stems on a green background. The plate has a somewhat art nouveau shape, with 5 wide scallops and gold embossed trim around the rim. The plate measures 8.5 inches wide across the middle.
The plate is in fair to good condition. There are no chips, but there is a lot of overall crazing, which has thickened in one spot to form what appears to be a hairline (visible on front and back; see closeup photos with red arrow). There is also a lot of wear to the gold trim around the rim, and a couple of very faint rim nicks.
The plate is marked on the bottom with "K&G / LUNEVILLE / France." There is also an impressed mark I can't make out. less
