The vase is groaned on its surface, its black cover is dense and nuanced. It is nicely signed in hollow “Accolay” and numbered. It is in good condition, some traces are visible on the enamel.

In the middle of the 20th century, Acrolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example.
