Beautiful porcelain sculpture attributed to the ceramic designer and sculptor Friedrich Heuler (1889-1959) representing spring with a nymph riding on a satyr, which he clings with his hands to the hair and tail. A simply wonderful interpretation in one of the most scarce and valued works of the German artist. The piece presents some marks of the passage of time as cooking lines that have emerged on the enamel around both wrists, without being any breakage or repair. It also shows some small chips such as nymph hair or satyr's lip.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution less
