Handled wooden trays with gold leaf, hand painted bamboo decoration, inlaid mother of pearl and black lacquer on the back. Mid 20th century vintage, these all have a signature lower right and original "Made in Japan" stickers on the back. Fine quality and these remain in very good condition with just light signs of age and handling. Direct from a local estate, rare chance to buy a matched set. 19" x 13", about 3/4" deep. Substantial, weight differs but around 2 pounds each.



Very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no breaks, no loss, no repairs, no water damage, no staining, no peeling. Expected, mild signs of age only. Small and modest scuffs, rubs, minor surface imperfections but these saw little use. The paint is rather clean and inlaid pieces are intact. Smooth edges, there is a moderate amount of surface wear around the outside but nothing dramatic. The backsides show modest surface rubs or scuffs but again no major issues.
