Measuring … more In the modernist style of Jacques Adnet, this iron and maple bookcase can hold it's own in any room! Measuring 35.5" tall, 10.5" wide and 7" deep, it's big enough to be serviceable and small enough to not overpower a room. Each pocket measures approximately 10.5” wide, 6”deep, and 8” tall. A truly unique piece. The piece is as found, unmarked and in good estate condition with just a couple of blemishes on the wood, as shown in the pictures.

Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) was a French art deco modernist designer, architect and interior designer. He was known for his furniture designs in leather and iron and as well as wood. He was a towering figure in twentieth-century avant-garde French design and is remembered for the clean lines and simple forms of an unadorned Art Deco style. less
