It is an original French men’s tailoring lithograph that features classic styling from the late Art Deco years. It was created for display at a bespoke tailor shop in Paris in 1937. The print features 2 gentlemen dressed in the latest of style, one in a wing collared shirt, morning coat and top hat. The other is in a vested, double-breasted suit. Note the details of prominently striped fabrics and fashionable pocket squares. The image is also unique in that it is NOT static. These highly styled gentlemen are engaged in conversation; they are "in motion"...walking, gesturing, carrying a book. The litho measures 9.25 x 13.5 inches. Signed by the illustrator. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch mat ready for a standard size frame. Perfect for today’s male fashionista, it is a great gift idea for the man in your life.
