Some people call this a butler's … more Very large, heavy silver plate serving tray with lovely scrolled edges, handles and feet. Some people call this a butler's tray. There's also a scrolled etched design on the flat part of the tray. It has feet that put the tray about an inch above the surface and 2" tall. The silver plate is pretty good on this piece but I've shown a couple of places that I could not get to shine - maybe someone else can rub harder! It was purported to be a named piece of silver plate when I bought it but I see no mark on the bottom and the label is long worn off. This is a lovely solid heavy vintage piece. The measurements below are handle to handle. The tray itself is 24" long and of that, about 19 1/2" is the reservoir or bottom of the tray. less
